Saloon

Saloon cars were designed for day-to-day road use and therefore need many of their compromises removed for them to work well as a effective race car. The category includes different drive formats (FWD, RWD and AWD) and so the set up issues do vary considerably.

Tech regs for your race series dictate what changes are (and aren’t) allowed but usually it is possible to make some changes to the kinematics, springs, ARB’s and dampers. These are crucial functions that control the way the tyre contact patches interface with the track surface to provide grip and balance.

In order to understand the current set up we carry out detailed analysis of the suspension (more info...) And discuss the handling with the driver. We are able to use this information to identify the cause of any problems or areas of weakness, to determine the changes needed and to work within your budget to recommend a programme of improvements.

We have a comprehensively equipped workshop and can carry out all fitting and set up work,

for example we can;

We also carry out data logged test sessions (more...) To “fine tune” the set up to suit the driver.
