Sprint and Hill climb

There are many different types of car used for sprints and hill-climbs but most of the challenges they face are the same. For example, they all need;

• to get the tyres working straight out of the box and maintain them during the run
• to be responsive for changes of direction but compliant for getting traction

So the nature of the competition means that a sprint/hill-climb car is usually set-up differently to a circuit race car.

We have experience in working with all configurations of engine position/drive formats from basic road-going front wheel drive to heavily modified 4-wheel drive and from novice to champion.

In order to understand the current set up we carry out detailed analysis of the suspension (more info...) And discuss the handling with the driver. We are able to use this information to identify the cause of any problems or areas of weakness, to determine the changes needed and to work within your budget to recommend a programme of improvements.

We have a comprehensively equipped workshop and can carry out all fitting and set up work,
