The Cornering Force approach achieves a much better balance between the roll resistance provided by the anti roll bars, springs and dampers. We avoid excessively stiff springs by using stiffer anti-roll bars and adjust the damping rates to achieve a comfortable pitch/roll rate during braking/cornering/accelerating.

To achieve this balance, we design and manufacture our own range of adjustable anti-roll bar systems and work closely with damper manufacturers so we can provide their products to our spec and also rebuild/revalve customers used dampers for a wide range of popular track day cars.

“The way the car performed on Saturday was just stunning (Bedford Track day), the ride is so much more compliant with considerably softer springs but the amount of body roll was even less than before. It remains so responsive to changes in direction and the traction out of corners is just something else…”

Track day

Many track day cars are also used on the road and need to provide a satisfactory compromise for both these uses without a major change to the set-up just to switch between track and road.

However sporty a standard car may feel on the road it will often lack response, roll excessively and understeer on the track. Many aftermarket handling kits and suspension upgrades make the car far too stiff and uncomfortable on the road by massively increasing spring rates to make the car more responsive and roll less on the track, this often makes the car considerably too harsh and quite unsettled on public roads.
